Has anyone bought from this seller before?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271371281...84.m1423.l2649

And will those J's racing air ducts fit on a replica FD2R bumper?

I think all their products are Fibreglass, which I don't recommend.

    I would avoid.

Oh, I see. I always hear people not being a fan of fibreglass car parts, but why's that?

Fiberglass is easier to crack as its less flexible, and as you know aftermarket replica parts aren't always 100% perfect fitment. With lips plastic lips you can bend and mold it with a heat gun to fit better whereas fiberglass you cant do that. Also, painted fiberglass parts tend to have a waviness within the paint. Some panel beaters actually go through the effort to get rid of this but most don't bother and just paint the part for you.
Rep me if i have helped you

Ohh, I get it now. Thanks for that.
I had always imagined replica parts would be made to spec, but I guess my lack of experience was wrong.
Alright, well thanks heaps, once again, for the clarification! I'll keep an eye out for plastic parts in that case.

Mate has bought from the seller. He was the seller that sold the j's racing parts (discontinued). The lips were pretty good, but cannot vouch for the bumper. J's ducts will fit only on type r bumper maybe even facelift with mods.

Were that seller's parts fibreglass? (Just asking to confirm).

Interesting, I think I'll probably won't get the facelift one just to stay on the safe side, and grab a FD2R replica at some stage.
