    B16a2 injector problems

    hey guys,

my EM1 had a broken injector so I changed it and the motor cranks but it wont start.. so i changed the spark plugs and put back the old injectors (thinking it shld work) but i still have the same problem and it doesnt start but cranks.

does anyone know what the problem is? its a stock b16 and i pretty much swapped the injectors back n forth n now it doesnt start.

    wat could be the problem?

Did u check if ur plugs were wet an smelled of fuel?
    Fuel pump primes?
u check for fuel pressure in the lines? crack open the fuel rail to see if fuel is being sent
    change ur fuel filter recently?
check all ur fuses? Fuel pump fuse, ECU fuse? and relays?
Check all ur grounding points as well?
If all check, than next would be getting spark, leads, than dizzy... Did u check if ur getting spark from the plugs?
If there is fuel, than it could be dizzy or ecu related... Injectors only open an fire when Ecu tells em to do so

everything works but didnt check for dizzy or ecu.

i dont understand why it wouldnt work if i only change the injectors the night before the car was running normal :/ wld there be a problem with the ecu if i swapped the old oem injectors with the same one? was a plug a play install

did you use the correct type of injector (high impedance)

If you used low impedance then you may have damaged the ECU

start with the basics, check for spark and fuel

Don't forget to check your spark plugs kmang. Off chance that trying to start so much could have fouled them full of fuel and it won't even spark. Happened to me once when I was doing a head-swap.

How would I know if I'm using the high impedance injectors.?

Had a friend look at it and says there is no spark.. So will look into it more when he has free time.

    Use a multimeter

if you have no spark you may have a dead coil or ICM
