    replacing ac bracket in dc2 itr...

    Are there any after market replacemeng bravkets that are lighter/smaller than the std ac bracket?

    You might be able to drill and tap to make it work. I didn't have the persistence at the time.

    Its actually made to be used with the N1 pulley - no AC or PS just ALT. So no need for the tensioner mounting.

    if its not your cup of tea then stick with your heavy mount and AC.

    Or , do as I did and remove the front lower torque mounts on both sides. This removes a decent amount of weight - you must run fairly firm engine mounts though to counter the twist.

    Now that sounds more to my liking, just do this to save some weight. What do I use? Any pics of yours????

    You literally take off the lower front two torque mounts. Gearbox mount and pulley mount. Minus 10kg or so.
    But you must have or replace the three remaining mounts with solid mounts such as hasport or innovative
