Hey all, long time car fanatic, freshy to the honda scene.
Ive owned a varied amount of cars in the past, a v6 swapped mr2, an rb25 powered s13, 20 valve corollas, wrxs etc etc.
And now I enter the realm of honda.
I must admit, the scene isnt what it used to be a few years ago, but the cars are still what theh where.
How it all started for me - bought a dc4 gsi as a run around and for sheets and giggles I took it to the national park a few times, now with 270000+ km on the clock and paint fade to the days it wasnt very appealing but took me by suprise with its nimble and outstanding ability to hold well in corners.
Thought id then find a nice vtir, I did, purchased headers, intake manifold, cold are intake setup, 5 stud itr brake setup, itr sway bars and suspension, bracings etc, all the good stuff!
Was stoked, went to get it a blue slip as it was unregistered, to find it was a write off in wa and could no longer get it registered.

So being brutally brain raped due to the circumstances I decided to part her out..
People wanted to pay half of what I had gotten the stuff at originally and I had gotten them all quite cheap to begin with.
Was then coaxed into getting an eg and putting all the goodies into it.
So I did.
I found a 91 model 1.3 single carbie breeze with 8 and a half months rego off some hipsters in marrickvile, they didnt have a single ounce of understanding for maintaining a vehicle, the roof had been painted with a paint roller, scratches and dints everywhere
The car looked like a peice of sheet!
Perfect for what I wanted.
Everything good out of the vtir got put into it.
Shes still a work in progress, and alsk my daily, but I plan on tracking her at Wakefield regularly now with a new job and sruff that allows me to have my weekends off.
