    E85 accord euro 2003

I put by mistake 23 litres e 85 (95 octane) in my car that was almost empty.

I want to avoid paying $500 to flush the fuel if possible.

I have only driven less than 1km after putting the fuel. Can I fill up rest of the tank with 98 octane to prevent any damage to engine.

    What options do I have?

I normally just start the car go to work (about 10km) and come back home, no high way driving.

    Thanks for replies in advance.

You need to drain the tank completely before refilling with 98RON if you have filled with E85 (107 octane)

23 litres and didnt stop to check once, brilliant.

only way would be to drain, ghetto way would be to put a hose and start sucking on one end and drop it the ground, let it pour out.
then sell off what you got out.

or get it done properly lol, using the drain plug/s

I drove about 40 km and then I heard knocking sound from engine. The sound only came when I tried to accelerate after stopping at the red lights. If I drove slower it sounded ok.

I decided to mix 98 octane and filled up the tank to its full capacity. Its going fine now but I have driven only 10 ks after filling up.

    I will see what happens.
