    Coolant Temperature Sensor

Got my check engine light scanned in my 96 Integra DC4, and it reads code 6, Coolant Temperature Sensor.

Anyway, sometimes when I turn my car on, the revs jump on their own up and down to around 3500 then down to 1000, for about a minute. Is this a symptom of a bad Coolant temperature sensor, or is that another issue on its own?

Also my idle revs sit at around 1100-1500. Is this also because of the coolant temp sensor?

Thanks. Just worried there might be other issues.
