Nobody has done it because nobody here likes aftermarket DRL... they look feral, which seems to be the taste of a good few 86 owners from what i can see.
In future, when driving in the country turn on your lights like everyone else does.
If not having lights bugs you, a very OEM looking solution is to find a DRL module and have that installed. It will power your high beam bulbs at half power when the car is being driven, and turn off when you put your low beams on
