    dc5 - shift boot replacement

    Hi fellow members,

i'd like to know how can i fit a type R shift boot onto a FL type S console, to replace the old shift boot etc.

I hear that to replace shift boot, you must buy a type R shift boot set including cup tray? is this true?

are there any other methods/ways so that i dont have to replace the whole set and just replace the shift boot itself?

    Thanks in advance!

If it is the only shift boot you are replacing it should fit. I don't see why you would have to replace the cup tray or anything like that.
