Question Front bumper combatibility... EK / EM ?

I went to a panel place to get a spare front bumper... he told me that a 99-00 ek bumper is different to the vtir one - something about where the grill attaches or something???
I thought they were the same.

Is there ANY difference between the two? Can I get a facelifted EK bumper and still use the EM1 grill and foggies?

I thought so - like 99% sure... it's just that this guy was adamant that they were different somehow and that you can't get vtir bumpers from anyone other than honda.
he even said they'd sold some and customers found that they didn't fit. i was like 'wtf?'

Probably. But they're not 99-00 are they?
I was very specific about having a '00 Coupe.

Anyway. I went back into the shop with my EM1 bumper literally under my arm and asked them to open up the bumper they have.
Sure enough, same thing. He started to tell me my foggies wouldn't fit until I pointed out the mounting points and the perforations on the back that indicate where to cut the foggy holes.

Anyway. Got my bumper. All good thanks for the help.
