Question Double din in accord euro, help please =]

I have been reading abit on here about installing a double in an 04 accord euro
Just wondering who used the honda kit and was it a lengthy install ? How did it fit etc
And is there anything I should be aware about before going ahead with it

    Thanks
    Renae

Hi Renae there is various double din kits. available
    Have you checked on Ebay>?
    example http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-Acc...item23468023bf

Most of it will be plug in kits to make the job easier. The unfornate thing is it doesnt replace the factory stereo.
    see below image

You will need make sure on a number of things

The double din you go for.
    The accord Euro fascia kit.
Harness this is important if your want the steering wheel bottons to work with the double din deck.

i genuinely wish there was a replacement for the stock unit.
But i think cause of the aircon controls and everything are all connected up back behind there.
leaves very little in the way to customise that area above cause thats where aircon temp info is displayed also.

    Hmm
i kinda of thought its too late to go the ipod cable cause u already bought the double din "I have bought the same Sony unit as in that picture."

Just have to only worry when changing too much from factory cause people like things looking OEM when or if u decide to sell it .
i had a cable running in mine AUX\charging of phone type thing.
Drilled a small hole in that storage area. discreet top corner. and fed the cable thru.

Hey I got a Double Den stereo installed in the storage area in my Accord Euro CL9 (Like in Snoop_gees' photo in the second post).
But when they did it they disconnect the current stereo and lighting so I can not see what my AC is doing and all the buttons dont light up.

    1. Can i hook it up myself?
    and
    B. Do i need to buy a cable or harness of something?
