    Hello all

bit of an update, my quote of $3000 to fix my aircon ended up costing me $300

it was a faulty compressor clutch 'Coil' long story short i managed to take the pulley, clutch, and coil off without a degas and had the coil re wound and then popped it back on, with $140 for the rewind, $80 diagnostic fee and a box and a bit of beer for my mate, jobs a good un.... ac all up and running.

next job was detail and detail it well what do you think.

right now i need help now it is all done, cam belt water pump oil filers coolant air com ....

i need to make this car less granddad and more JDM cruiser,

i am thinking lowering springs and tints for now what you think, wheels are a bit out my budget but will come soon.

thanks for looking and all the help with the fix etc

    cheers folks

agree with the rip off thing, took me ages to research, take it apart and do it all but the diagnosis by the local mobile AC man was the best money spent, made the mistake of taking it to a non local business and they just saw $$$ when they saw me,

Where do i get lowering springs from in WA that wont cost the earth and where can i then get it tracked for an ok price? any advice ?

you could get KING springs from most chain wheel and tyre places but personally I'd try and get some reputable brand from the USA

Shoot user "senna" or "lilthug" a PM and see what they can do.

    Otherwise try eBay i guess.

Or even PM user Jasemas, he may have some ideas
