Honda Civic EK - 16x7 +40 with 15mm spacer fitment question
Hi, i currently have 16x7 +40 wheels in 4x114.3
Does anyone know that if i use '15mm 4x100 to 4x114.3 spacers' along with these wheels, would they sit flush to the guard or would it poke out the guard?
wouldn't spacers affect the offset? So if your wheels are 16x7 +40 with 15mm spacers, the new setup would be 16x7 +25 which means it will most likely poke outside the guard.
As above, your wheels will become 16x7 +25. I'm running that exact spec on my car at the moment with 205/45/16 tyres and this is how it sits; not outside of the guard.
Fits under nicely with the natural camber. I've lowered mine 2inch front, and roughly 1.75inch rear (has a fair bit of weight in there though) Dropped lower, you'd have more camber, and they'd sit in further. Stock height they'd poke a touch, but as suspension travels, they'd sit under, as per natural camber.
Just gotta roll the inner parts of the guards, and they won't rub on the guards. That's all I'm having trouble with.

Also, do you guys know if i would need the hub centric rings or would it be fine without them? My spacers are 67.1mm and my rims are 73.1mm whilst my EK is 56.1mm so i was wondering if this would be a big issue?
It'd probably be an idea, but apparently won't do much with the bolt on spacers (apparently doesn't put the load on the hub as much anymore... something along those lines)
Also, tyre width helps with tucking. I'm running 185/55r15's. I imagine nobbs is running something similar. Maybe 195's. They look a tiny bit less stretched
