hybrid brake fluid for street / track

hi guys, track day noob here

need advice on brake fluid

car is ek1 gli

car will be tracked 4 times a year, possibly more

car is also a daily, driven 10000 kms a year

main aim is to prevent brake fade on track, but can still be used on street

what do you recommend?

If balling,

Buy 5 stud conversion, from Ek9 or Dc2r + the budget mod.

If on budget,

Buy good set of rotors with aggressive brake pads with braided lines.

If your broke,

Just buy nice pads + get ur rotors machined.

All you really need re drilled dc2r rotors + spacer + dc2r calipers + BMC.

Cheapest way to make an ek1 brake harder and be legal on the road. Also note i do remember reading some where the caliper part # is also shared with some other hondas, which may not carry Type R Tax.

The caliper you're referring to is the Nissin 17cl15vn
Used on 1st gen odyssey/6th gen v6 accord/type R teg
I got both of mine for $50 from a wrecked Ra1 (odyssey) no type R tax for me :P

Anzai, from experience I would recommend Motul RBF600 or TRW GP600. It's basically the high boiling point that you're looking for. Any basic dot4 fluids (OEM most likely included) won't handle racing conditions unless you're keen to bleed it every session lol.

RBF600/GP600 work absolutely fine for daily driving too.

But if you're wanting to get rid of fade entirely, the pads and discs are a major contributor here as well.
