    Greetings from New Zealand #newmember

    Hi all,

As per title I am a newbie from New Zealand! I share the same passion as you other Honda lovers so please no hate just cause I'm from NZ haha! The only reason I joined OZHonda's is that I've realized that Australia seems to have a bigger Honda community than NZ's one and the fact that there's so much more people like the same type of car that I like! Which is the FD civic (2006-2011) models including the type R.

    Here's my ride,

It's a 2008 Honda Civic (FD2 non type R) originally produced in NZ! Like most of these civic's, they come with the powerful and very economical k20z2 engine. But sadly, the 2.0 ones produced in NZ only come in automatic with the 2.0 the addition of paddle shift gear changer, sunroof, full leather interior features and not to mention, the sport factory kit! The 1.8/r18 ones produced in NZ can come in both transmission auto and manual. I know, a bit weird the NZDM is..

But anyways.. Here are some very basic modifications I've done so far to my car:

Lowered on Skunk2 lowering springs (2.25" drop in front & 2.0" drop in rear)
Integra DC5 type R rims in silver with 25mm spacers/adaptors all round
Takeda short ram intake bought from the U.S
Installed genuine Mugen ventilated rain visors
EZ lip front lip add on
Chrome delete (front grill, door handles, front & rear badges) with Plasti Dip

Thanks for reading guys, hope to see many more of your sick rides!

    - Rob

Cheers Zak. Was inspired by some guy I found on Instagram from the U.S that put on the same wheels on his FA5 civic. It looked really nice and thought I'd try the same thing out. Didn't look too bad after all

Haha. Yeah, I understand. This car isn't even JDM! It was originally made here in NZ.

But I can say the same for aus of having a bunch of few rare Honda's as well! (y)
