1997 honda civic vti auto to manual gearbox swap

Hi guys I just bought a 1997 civic vti with a bad cvt gearbox and would like to fit a manual box. Could anyone let me know whats involved.

You'll need gearbox, flywheel, clutch assembly, clutch master cyl and lines (slave as well), shifter and rods, pedal box and probably ECU. Where are you located? I have all the stuff you need in a CXi located on the Gold Coast.

I haven't done the swap on a Honda, but have done it on other cars and as long as you have all the parts, it's pretty easy. There might be some issues with having to bridge out a starter inhibitor switch (prevents starting the car unless it's in park or neutral - not needed in a manual) though I'm not 100% certain how Hondas manage this.

also likely need a custom or aftermarket gearbox mount - hasport offers such a thing.
off the op of my head you can use your existing ECU with a clever reroute of a few wires to cancel out the shift lock etc
