Help! 95 Civic EG idle problem!

So after swapping a b18b2 into my hatch a few months ago, I'v had idle problems. I cleaned the IACV and checked for vacuum leaks but idle was still playing up.
Recently I was in my car and I accidentally pulled the acceleration pedal up (towards me) and surprisingly the idle dropped back to normal. I checked if the throttle cable was too tight but it was fine, has this happened to anyone before? Let me know if you guys have any solutions because I'm done with my car revving at red lights and my leg getting sore from pulling the pedal up everytime

So it doesn't hunt, it just revs high? Are you sure the tb is closing? try closing it by hand and see if it drops down

I should of replied earlier, to save you a trip to ya mechanic. Once I overly tightened the throttle cable, I didn't notice it initially , since during warm up, the revs are slightly higher, but then I realised... hmmm.
