Well, just received and had my 50R J's racing exhaust installed. Thing sounds good for an axle-back that's on a stock R18 (a/t)!

eBay if you wanna save a hundred or so off the rrp, or just from K&N or reseller of their's. Model number, i believe is: 69-1013TS, for the FD1 1.8L.

Yeah, it did, haha. I was a bit scared it might've turned out to be a rice can sound, but it turned out just the way I want it. A nice, deep tone that isn't too loud. In saying so, I'd prefer it to be a bit quieter at lower rpms (1.5-2k) but I guess you can't really ask for that in an aftermarket exhaust.
