    anyone using teh k24 gearbox? in k-swap eg5

    is anyone using the k24a euro box in their eg k-swap? how does it differ to the dc5r box?

    Is the k24a euro box that bad compare to dc5r box

    all i knw that euro box doesnt have the vss on the box, is that rlly a big problem?

    the Accord Euro gearbox is lazier.

    Its shit compared to the dc5r box. Avoid it at all costs if you can.

    wat happens if im changing the internals and adding lsd? is the casing of the euro box that different to the dc5

    Yeah different mount points and the case uses a electrical speed sensor not mechanical like the dc5 box.

    Not necessarily. as long as you have the correct mount bracket from hasport it's no different from using a Dc5 case. The VSS will require a little bit of playing around to get working though.

    K24 box has almost identical spread of ratios (2nd to 6th) as DC5R box, except all ratios are taller. Good for cruising with tall gearing, or put in a low ratio FD (5.3 or better) for cheap option for CR box (guarantee nobody could even pick the difference in ratios by driving, apart from the said FD ratio)

    I think there were several versions of the K24 box though. later ones might have had wider gear spacing.
