Honda Civic eg - d15b4 head swap need advise help ?

Hi guys I have a few questions

I have a d15b4 im not after any gains from this motor I did a service on this yesterday and snapped off a spark plug was a clean break left the thread of the plug in the head

My question is I have a d16y4 laying around can I take the head off this and use it on my d15b4 and if I can do I need to change any thing ? If this can't be done my best bet is to remove the head off my d15 and take it down to a shop to get them to remove the thread ?

The d16y4 is a complete motor with all parts except the starter motor witch im useing on my d15 I don't really wNt to swap them out either

Well your b4 is carb and your y4 is efi, I dont think the y4 has the mount for the mechanical fuel pump.
The head will bolt on but im not sure about the timing belt length being the same between motors, also you may end up with more or less compression.
You can still fit your carbs to the y4 and run a electric fuel pump etc.
Best to just drive it round to a workshop on 3 cyl and get the plug removed
