    CRZ rear struts

I have a CRZ 2.5 years old and I enjoy all aspects of driving, petrol economy etc. At 12mth mark the rear hatch would not lift from unlock stage- 3 services later dealer agreed to replace struts- this was a waste of time as no change.
For the first 12 months hatch lifted thru to stand up position with ease. Now because of the weight of the hatch I need to use 2 hands just to get it to raise to stand up position- Honda are "looking into it"-
Has anybody else experienced this problem- if so what was solution- industrial strength struts? taking into consideration the angle and the weight of the hatch?

If it's under warranty, I'd be having very strong words with the dealer.

No problems there - it's been reported during the warranty period, so they have to fix it - even if the problems persist outside the warranty period. Don't let them bully you.
