    K20a camshaft

    has anyone here use high lift camshaft profile that hv to disable vtc on their stock k20a motors?if so how is the drivability and performance wise gain or loss.any advise will b appreciated

    Are you talking about vtec killer style cams?

    If yes then you'll see power gain up high and depending on the profile and tune maybe a loss down low until the point where vtec would have kicked in (Correct me if I'm wrong). If you are going to use the car as a daily driver then don't go for the vtec killer style cams. You'll want the lower profile for economy and acceleration purposes.

    Take my reply with a grain of salt, that's my understanding from what I've read around but I don't know from experience.

    i am talking about jun type 3 cams on their website it says it will require to disable vtc
