Can axle nuts be reused ?

Hi guys,

I am thinking about reusing the old axle nuts. Is it really necessary to replace it with new one ? If it is necessary, where is the best place to get them ?

yes they can be reused
After properly torquing make sure you strike it properly onto the shaft end.

Of course they can be reused. If they've been used a few times it's worth replacing them though as they can get pretty ugly by the time they've been prised open a few times. I picked up some new ones from the local CV place. I think it only cost me a few bucks for a pair.
