Does anyone else find Honda quality on the decline?

Since buying my 2nd Jazz in 2012 I'm less than impressed as things have warn.
The internal carpets have warn shockingly (boot included).
The fuel economy for a small car I find terrible on average.
    Random noises from the front.
The gearbox seems to go out of lunch some times and there's almost a feeling of little to no drive.
The suspension moans and growns from all 4 corners (even just learning on it).

I had a 2005 GD3 before this and other than the crap CVT (the reason I sold it) it was a good car.
    Jazz: stock, K&N panel filter.
120 Series Prado GXL Petrol: Pacemaker extractors, Dual 2 1/4" exhaust, 70 series MT STZ's, ARB non-winch bullbar, snorkel, Dimpled and slotted rotors.

older jazzes were fantastic cars. I had a 2007 vti , zoomed around everywhere - seats fold flat and took a lot of of crap in the back. Consistent 7l/100km no matter what you did, felt nice.
    New jazzes ? Nah.

I have to agree (MY13 VibeS)
My mate had a gd3 and that thing rocked - except the CVT
    It's got 48k kms
There's squeaks and random clunks - coming from the firewall
The transmission (auto) does not know what gear to be in - my old cd5 knew exactly which gear was needed
    My biggest issue
    IS THE FREAKIN PAINT
Got a chip on the roof, and has already rusted out to a diameter of 1cm (within a week)
It is so crap, do we not galvanize steel these days
This is supose to be the JAPAN model

    But it handles well

They are happy to sacrifice specs to remain competitive, and people are happy to buy it
