Question Penrite PMO15 Oil, yay or nay ?

    Hi guys,

Autobarn have a sale on at the moment for 5L Penrite PMO15 15W40 Engine oil for $14.99. I was considering getting some, but the "Search by Vehicle" feature on Autobarn site is telling me it's not suitable... According to the Manual, 15W40 is ok, so not sure why it would say that... anyone know if it'll be ok ?

My car is a 2005 HONDA CRV done about 143,000km

The oil you've specified is being discontinued which is probably why it's at such a cheap price. I read Penrite's information on it and couldn't really find anything against using that oil. But yeah for some reason all the oils that they are recommending for your K24 are the HPR oils....
