Central Locking issue

Hi all.

I am having some issues with my central locking in my 08 CU2

The car locks perfectly fine but unlocking is a bit of an issue.

The fuel door unlocks each time but the doors and boot do not unlock.

Sometimes the doors will unlock, other times it wont.

In order to unlock the doors I have to press the lock button again, the quickly press the unlock button twice to get all doors to unlock.

has anyone had a similar issue and know how to fix it? Is this the dreaded actuator issue I have read about previously

butters88, my cousin has this issue with his 2010 CU2 and ended up having to replace the actuators (which was pricey from Honda, wasn't so pricey DIY-ing) but this issue sounds peculiar to his issue.

Have you had the car looked at?

I haven't had it looked at. I am going to be getting rid of it soon so want to see if DIY fix is an option first before going to get it sussed for trade in.

I have noticed you can buy the CL9 actuators on eBay but I haven't been able to find any for the CU2.....

Has anyone been able to do it themselves on the CU2?
