My distributor is leaking oil around the cap. It's a 4 cyl Automatic- EngNo: F22B6.. Built Sept 1996
Honda told me the distributor is irrepairable but they can't supply a new one.
They gave me the following part nums for the distributor - Honda: 30100P1EA02 Hitachi: D4T93-03.
I tried to buy a new aftermarket distributor from several suppliers and there are plenty available under the above Hitachi part number but they all have two plugs on the harness. My distributor has one wiring harness coming out of it and one plug.
I spoke to an old distributor repairer who told me that he has repaired these distributors in the past but he is moving house and can't do the job for me.
Does anybody know where I can get a new seal installed - Ipswich or Brisbane Qld Aust? Cheers
