    Integra DC5 vs Civic 08

    Hi all,

I suspect this is probably an unwelcome and annoying noob question, so please feel to delete if so, but if it is fairly standard, I look forward your responses.

I know little about hondas - even cars, in general. Taken a shine to a couple of hondas, however, and keen to make my first purchase. Given my budget and preferences, I've landed on either an Integra DC5 or a civic circa 08.

Those preferences FYI - pretty straightforward.
    - a bit sporty but leaning towards simplicity - not a flashy guy but don't mind a bit of oomph
    - low maintenance cost (in all likelihood)
    - low fuel cost

The civic is a good few years newer and satisfies my criteria but I also really like the integra - concern is around reliability of the older integra. what would you honda gurus get?

You would have no regrets with polo gti, make sure it's older model though

Polo Gti's are time bombs !!

once lauded for its tech and given motor of the year awards, its been pulled from production as its now an exspensive embarassment for many an owner, they effing blow up !!
