EU3 Help and Advice

Hey guys,

New here and own a EU3 Vi model with the d17a2 motor. Has a few kms on it and using some oil, gearbox also has a damaged gear by the sounds of it. Looking for some advice on doing engine swaps on it. I know the KA motors are the obvious choice but my budget wont stretch that far. Any auggestions as I would need a motor and box. What do guys do for suspension on them? Looking to make a track day car in the end.

Or do I scrap all that and get myself a nice little EK find theB16a motor and go that route.

Better off to start off with a good base like an EK or EG. The vi is good as a family car but nothing else

Yup. Get the lightest car you can find and put in the fastest engine you can afford.
