instrument cluster colour

hi

i'm looking to change the colour of the instrument panel and the center controls in the crv. trouble is i can't get to the lights behind the aircon controls and with the instrument cluster, there doesn't seem to be a difference in the colour output of the light when i put another colour light behind it. does anyone know how the speedo, tacho, etc, are lit up? does it glow from a light above or from behind? is there anyway to change it without spending $200+ on reverse gauges?

hey maty, i guess u need to change light bulb at the back of the whole speedo meter, i guess it is a time consuming job.... if u don't know how to take out the cluster or whole speedo meter you might damage the the frame of it, better not try it.... ask people with more experience.........good luck mate...

u can always color the light bulbs in, that works
