Newbie here - Civic Vti-LX 2016

Hi guys..newbie here im only on my second Honda and car..first car was given and it was a Honda Civic VTi 2009..loved that car and recently sold it to a friend..and when i sold it its only done 80,000 so it was still a baby but now i felt i needed a new car so i jumped into the new and imo excellent 2016 Civic Vti-LX..cant wait to meet u all and im hoping for some tips

Congratulations for the new Civic.
What other cars,if any,did you consider in addition to the new Civic ???

Ooooo Type-R no doubt but the 2016 model wont be out yet till next year and its a manual w/c aint bad but im notbused to driving a manual (i know ill get blasted with that comment lol)..

Was thinking of an S2000 but expensive and a bit old to my liking..but of course im not the only one deciding the misus had lots of input with the car hence no Type-R (slowly i like to think im almost gonna convince her)..haha

Btw i did consider a Mazda 3 or 6 and Golf but my blood runs Honda i would like to think
