I just put the ECU back in and it failed to start.. looking to find a replacement. Not sure what's compatible?
The sticker reads:
37820-RBB-E57
CY-EH2586A
A7J-3
I found some on ebay one has 37820-RBB-Q57
Would this be compatible?

No worries. Any idea on how to fix an issuer with the indicator on the dash for the gear position (P/R/N/D/etc)?

Pull the bulb out,problem solved
Not sure about that but it maybe ecu related but all that water may have messed some wires up.. When it completely dries it should be fine.
pm 'ecu-man' he will be able to tell you what's up. Very knowledgeable guy!

At work inside the lab we have a small oven with adjustable temperature.
If I want to dry a circuit board I would turn it to 50C and leave it overnight. If you can access an oven which can be adjusted to about 50, you should try it.

There is no bulb. They are all SMD LEDs the the Euro.
I know cause I took one apart and changed colour of the dials to red.

37820-RBB-E57 is thr honda part number, the other 2 codes are chipset and panasonic part numbers (CL9 uses a matsushita ecu, which is a sub brand of panasonic)
To break down the part number:
37820-RBB-E57:
37820 : part I'd, 37820 means ECU
RBB : vehicle/engine I'd, RBB is is really cl9 accord euro bit's, RAA is cm2/4 Wide body accord
E : Region ID, E = Europe, J = Japan, A = America, Q = Rest of the world
57: part version I'd, 57 = Automatic, 07 =manual
So you need some thing with the 57 part version ID.
Now... whichever ecu you endup using... You'll need to have honda re match the immoboliser. Else th car won't start.
Immoboliser code is stored on the ecu also. Hence....

Remove the led then..
'ecu-man' can convert auto ecu to manual or anything else cheap.

Thanks so much for the info! I ended up getting an ECU with the exact same part number just to be safe.. Looking for a place in Sydney to reprogram.. the price range is ridiculous I found as low as $66 (from a Honda service centre) all the way up to $250..

Just an update for those interested - just picked up the car and it is running now! Will open it apart and go over all the electronics with electrical contact spray to prevent corrosion and take out the carpet and give it a proper clean. Thanks all for the help!
