im not too keen a manual driver for some reason. I was learning manual on some hyundai back in the day. ddint enjoy it all and switched to an auto. The raeson i own an auto euro. have heard manual euro are pretty quick of the mark.

20k would most likely be a vtir, i wouldnt touch the tippy if i was you, not only do the box have problems but they are alot slower...

a 3rd gen prelude manual dominates over a auto 5th gen vtec, that is how much difference it makes...

A Manual 5th gen would run mid to high 15 second passes stock, auto mid to high 16's... VTiR of course.

20g for a 2000 is a bit much these days.. my mate got a 2000 for 17500 a few months ago. if you want a decent price approximation go to www.drive.com.au and click on Value your car.

    ... or redbook as well.

I'f youre purely interested in just cruising the car then Auto is ok. I'm sure manual driving in a prelude is a lot more fulfilling than in a hyundai.
