Tell me, why do you all LOVE Sato?

    As title says, WHY?
What has he done that makes him so popular with you all?
I know he drives a Honda in F1, but so does Jenson and none of you pull your d**k over him.

    Later boys.
    Viva la Schumacher!

well if any of you guys follow the soccer as well, it's the 'japanese made good in europe' phenomenon

hide nakata has the same deal playing soccer in italy
junichi inamoto famously was an arsenal reserve, never played a game for the gunners but sold a lot of t-shirts
    and shinji ono for feeyonord

the way they treat these guys in japan when they come back are like rock stars/big time celebs

and japan is the country of celeb worship/fads/the 'IT' girl/boy

but F1 is supposed to be multicultural etc - with all the new tracks like shanghai, bahrain etc, and all the drivers - you got an indian, japanese, a few italians, germans and brits

rest assured Honda will market Sato to the asian audience - china etc. all in the name of selling more cars/scooters/bikes

    (end rant )

well i dont love him like the rest of u guys....but i find his driving very entertainin...not like the other drivers...hes not very calculated, but instead he jus goes for it n whatever happens, happens...he lives n dies by this method. And i think he must push the sh!t out fo the honda...last yr he blew some many engines, while button was finishin on the podium. Another particular race where i think Sato was comin 3rd or 4th n had Rubens in front of him with a few lapsto go n he jus went for glory, but it all failed, n once more the car was GOOOONE...hehhee...

I was noting yesterday that there's a lot of diversity in where the drivers come from.
In order of points so far...
Spain, Italy, Finland, Italy, Germany, Australia, Germany, Columbia, UK, Germany, Brazil, Austria, Canada, Spain, Austria, Brazil, Italy.
10 different nationalities for 17 drivers. That's pretty cool.
