Engine upgrade

Hi yall

I've noticed that the engine in my 97 integra type-r is about to crap itself so i was thinking of an engine upgrade. Now the type of engine that instantly springs to mind is a chevrolet gen3 engine that is used in one of the newer commodores.
I think this would go well but i'm just getting some opinions.
Your input would be helpful in my decision.

u serious? an 8yo honda engine died on you and u wanna drop a 5.7L GM engine in?

u plan on convering to RWD? u know if it can fit in the engine bay? u actually thought this thru man? doesnt sound like it.

ANYTHING can be done if you have deep enough pockets but being realistic if u wanna go chucking a new GM motor in something sell the teg and buy something rwd based.
