wat i meant was, the ratio of power/fuel efficency with the 2.25" compared with a 2.5" exhuast.

hard to say. i doubt it would make much of a difference on fuel economy.

car came with the swap done mate. it was engineered so i'd say in excess of 7K including engineering costs.

look at it this way as rough approximates:

    $2500-$3500 for engine/gbox/loom/ecu
    $2000-$3000 for swap labour.

I think thats pretty close to what a swap 'would' cost you. Engineering is just an "extra".

a few tuners here in WA recommend a 2.5" exhaust for the DC2R so it makes sense that adams EK which has a B18C7 in it to be fitted with a 2.5"
most B16s run 2.25 from what ive heard so the increasement in displacement may be accountable for the larger exhaust piping to make benefit of the higher power figures avaliable

in the process atm. all up drop in car its about 6.5-7g thats done properly with all fluids, timing belt, clutch, flywheel, fan belts and full exhaust but im doing all this myself so you can add labor. the half cut will set you back about 5g for a pristine condition as new one.. anyway when my conversion is done in about 2 weeks ill post up a rough estimate of cost cos got not time atm...
