i have had 3 different pods on same car
started with k&n pod was ok
    then sparco pod was better
then unifilter ram pod, was best and sounds better too the ram pod has a trumpety sort of angry intake yell
and piss easy to clean, and are cheaper that the others too

not a fan of the uni filters, have used them in cars before but imo lost power from them, i'm guessing cos they come preety oily from the factory they mite restrict flow, but thats just my 2 cents

Foam filters are only bad when used with cars using air flow meters. you will find that the oil can clog the AFM and then u can get bogging etc. but when used on cars with map systems you should gain a lot from them cos they arent perfect and the air gets through any way it can so therefore in theory u should gain more power.

i got a unifilter myself... personally i couldnt notice the difference... it has to be better than the stock paper one tho.

power remained the same, fuel economy didnt change

ive got a uni filter on mr car atm and have had a k&n in the past i havent noticed any power difference but i found that the uni filter has a deeper sound to it which i personally like, nice and easy to clean aswell
