Yeah I've got a Sony 19" G420, 1600x1200 @85hz . I would use an even higher res but this monitor is a bit f#$%ed so it tends to blur at normal contrast.

I'm running a 19" LCD at 1200x1024 but even with my old chunky 21" CRT I ran the same res (anything higher was too hard to read!)
