Tanabe Hyper Medallion Install on DC2R

well assassin asked me to write a little short review on the exhaust as my car was used for fitment purposes...first of all i'm not really sure on what to write, i have bad english...anyways here it goes...

first the catback was too long because of the audm itr having a slighty bigger/longer cat then the jdm itr so there was two choices for me to pic here.

    1. cut the piping
    2. buy a new cat

anyways, i decided to cut it because i was too poor to buy new cat...

anyways so the exhaust goes on, the guys cut the piping and weld it onto the flange then bolt it upto the cat - or something along those lines...i was too tall to look under the car ...

after somewhat 45minutes and only one person working on the car, it was finally done and tested...no leak so fine and ready to go!!

using my butt dyno, i found the exhaust to give a better response in the top end and also felt smoother as well. the lower end had a bit better response but it was really noticable in the higher end (ie vtec y0)

another addition to this is that the exhaust is absolutely quiet...with all my windows closed, i cannot hear it as all i can hear is my engine sounds in cabin...with the RHS window open fully, i can just barely hear it and start to notice it when i am the vtec range

overall i am extremely happy with the exhaust and the *butt* gains that i got and also it's not loud or droney...very quiet and nice...love the exhaust!

oh and here are some photos to share...sorry for the quality...both me and assassin suck with picture taking
