Orig vs. Imitation muffler?

Just wana know if there's a huge difference in performance between a well known brand muffler (say HKS) and an imitation muffler, considering both are the same design.

Would you guys buy the replica version if you could get it really really cheap? Is it worth it?????

there is a bit of difference..... but if the replica was at a significantly lower price, and you weren't looking for shear outright 100% best performance possible out of your car, then i'd say the replica is the better buy for your money.

So what advantages does the big brand muffler have over the replica version of it?

tha glass packs inside a canister muffler (lets say apexi N1) are much better quality than other generic N1 mufflers. Eventually both will sound raspy but the apexi will outlast the generic one guaranteed.
