    Post '88 Civic Installs

    Heya guys,

    Just wondering if anyone has done any installs in 88-91 civics?
    I'm having all sorts of problems trying to fit 6 inch speakers in the stock front locations. I just don't have enough clearance, even with spacers.

    Also looking for boot ideas.
    Cheers all,

    Wi||.

    as much as you may hate to do it, you may have to cut some plastic out of the back of where the speaker sits. it sounds painful, but you will never see it, and also the plastic there has no purpose, and once its done you can forget about it!
    ...... and that's all I have to say about that.

    I've got 6.5" in the front on my 91 ED, the only thing is i just had to drill some holes for them to fit. And if you take off the mesh, they stock speaker covers will fit over them
