as in my introduction post, i was wondering if i tried to take the moudlings (rubber lumps on the bumper bars) off, would the glue take off the paint aswell meaning i'd have to get a respray....or is there a way i can get em off without peeling the paint...?
same question goes for the "civic vti" decal on the bootlid. can i get it off without damaging the paint?

The civic vti is just a sticker so that should be OK.

If it stuff up the paint, just glue it back on

(Same goes for the rubber mouldings!)

Not sure about the mouldings, but for the sticker......run a sponge (or cloth) of warm water over it to make the glue kinda tacky.......keep doing it while attempting to peel it off.

the badge is easy... just peel it off and if there is remaining black sticky stuff there just scrap it off with ur nails or something...

as for the side mouldings, if you are talking bout the ones on 96+ civics front & rear bar... not sure if you can remove them... would leave u a hole in the bumper???... :?

I removed my sticker using a hair dryer....just put it on low heat and blow onto the VTi sticker while trying to peel it off....U will find using a hair dryer is the best way, it comes right off no probs....

The moldings aren't stuck on. They are clipped on.

Take ur bumper car off and undo the clips
    i need vtak!!

Yeah, they are clipped on, and you will need to fill the holes and respray after. It's worth it though, shaved mouldings on the EG look hot!
