Which corner(s) are the hardest to tackle.. (newbie here)
In a FWD, going up the hill (turns 1 2,3,4 and 5) are the trickiest to get right - a good line through all of them sets you up for a great lap. The enxt hardest in a FWD is the last corner, coming onto the straight - botch it and you either end p in the dirt, or at best, a bad lap time - it is the most important corner on the track as it sets up your next lap as wel as ends another. The eariler you can get on the gas, the better - and thats where you beat RWD cars at Wakefiled, coz they can;t get on the gas as early as you.
In a RWD car, the trickiest corner is turn 6/7 - the downhill left handed, off camber, bumpy, hairpin - come down the hill at over 130km/h in the skyline, in the cold august wind, and mismatch the gear changes, and expect a LOT of trouble. It is the hardest corner in a RWD car. Pther than that, up the hill is still tricky.

Tyres made a difference there more than anything IMO
Based on that time, you could get a high 1.15 at wakefield with only suspension modifications on what you already have - all you need is more castor and a larger rear bar.... and a little bit of tuning

but thats with my ex car ... em1 b16a... but know i m drivin a ek1 d16y4.. so there is no chance of me gettin close to that time anymore....

That is a pretty good time there man. Mate did a 1,19 with just rear stabiliser bar changed. Stick in some decent suspension, larger rear bar, more castor, tune the suspension to taste, stick on some good tyres, something midly stickable, should do a 1.16.5 minimum with a decent driver, no need for power mods.

My mate did a 1:17 in his stock MX5 last week, with some rims and semi-slicks. Not bad if you ask me!

Pretty good - once again, Wakefield is a handling car, Vti Civics can drag off MX5s... but they don't handle anything like MX5s.
The tyres will hav made 2 seconds difference easily

I think you have probably reached it - try and make it easier to drive rather than driving it stock and having trouble. I don't think you will go sub 80 seconds without good tyres, the track definitely requires it. Driving style at Wakefield only affects a few corners, its pretty much a throw into every corner and hope, even if it is understeer city - average speed is very important there, esp in average power FWDs. Most important corner is the last, and FWDs murder that corner, RWDs struggle
