Lightbulb Changing the bulbs in your Dash Cluster??

    PLEASE READ BELOW!!!!!!!!!

Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!

This guide will show you how to replace the bulbs in your dash cluster. Im using M4 B1 Hybrid lights w/ no coloured covers.

What you need:Phillips head screw drivers....small stumpy one for hard to reach spots and a larger on....you'll figure it out.

    Steps:

    1. Remove the + and - battery terminals before installation begins. This is a saftey precaution when working around cars equipped w/ SRS airbags. Owner must understand that this may trigger your alarm...if you have one fitted.

    2. Tilt steering wheel down to lowest position.

    3. Remove screw located in top of plastic clusted surround...using the smaller of the two screw drivers.

    4. Place hand on bottom of surround and put towards the steering wheel. It will pop out...

    5. Now you need to remove 3 screws one at the top off the cluster and 1 on each side of the cluster. Use appropiate screw drivers as necessary.

6, Cluster will pop out and become detached from the dash. NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE CAREFUL WHILE REMOVING THE CLUSTER THEY ARE NOT CHEAP TO REPLACE IF BROKEN.

    7. Un-clip 3 looms attached to back of cluster...The cluster will become completely detached from dash.

    8. Turn cluster over to reveal the 3 larger black knobs in the centre os cluster. These are illumination globes...AGAIN THESE PART ARE NOT CHEAP TO REPLACE, CAUTION IS ADVISED.

    9. twist and remove the globes these are simple wedge bulbs that pop out when you pull on them...swap them for the M4's. Return knobs to original position.

    10. complete the steps in reverse to re-install cluster...test lights before fully replacing cluster to test bulbs. This is what is should look like!!! Pimpin

    nice write up!

I'm always worried about removing the dash cluster because people might think you have fiddled with the oddometer when you sell your vehicle
