Arrow Reccomended engine oil for honda s2000

    hi,

just wanted to know from s2000 owners what engine oil's do you guys use for your s2k's? i was thinking along the lines of something that was fully synthetic? or motul??

as for my next question, if my motor has done about 43000kms but over the past year have only driven less than 5000kms and have not needed to change the oil for roughly 6 month period if not more and in that period have bearly driven it, only to start it to move in and out of a workshop every morning... would it be recommended for me to use oem honda oil for the motor to wear in again? ( sounds weird but this is what a mate told me) would it be recommended to change the other fluids such as diff oil, gb oil?

Are there any downsides to a car that is under-driven? as in not driven enough?

    thanks

    fly

btw mods, i have done a search but nothing came up...

how abt if u havnt driven the car but the oil has just been sitting there over a 6-12 month timeframe? i assume it would be advisable to change it immediately before any form of hard driving?

like i said above, don't change the oil any longer than 8 months max coz the oil in the engine will catch up moisture and the quality might going bad...
semi is fine for every 6 months, but if you really want to go between 6-8,9 months i'd suggest you use full syn... there;'s nothing wrong with you change the engine oil frequently!
