    [Euro] Exhaust

    Hi people,

Just wondering if any of you have put on an aftermarket car back for the euro coz I am thinking about getting one. I want to retain the twin pipe looks so at the moment I am looking at either the HKS silent hi power or the fujitsubo (the mugen is nice but can't justify the price difference). Have you guys heard anything or know anything first hand about these exhaust? Or any other suggestions?

IMO I don't think the difference in performance would be significant enough to be considered a factor (I could be wrong of coz), more for the sound.

I am scared that the fujitsubo would sound 'stock' coz its so quiet.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

    James

If you want performance, get single straight through muffler type. But it will be loud.

    5 zigen GN+
    HondaTwincam N1

are good options they are cheaper than twin muffler type

I got a quote for spoon springs +
    1 - HKS for 2400 installed
    2 - Fuji for 2250 installed

I thought the price is alright, any comments?

yeah that's about right, since the spoon springs are aound 700-800 installed.
So noone has tried the HKS exhaust? I think I might give it a try then.

Why not just go to a GOOD exhaust shop? That way you can pick whatever diameter pipe you want (or they recommend) and you can pick your mufflers? If it's too loud then just chuck in another resonator... If you're going to spend the money and be particular about it, you might as well pay to get it just how you want...

Maybe I'm just weird, but everybody seems to be obsessed with buying pre-made kits where you pay for brand name as much as anything. Or maybe we just have a range of good exhaust shops in Adelaide...

Pre-made Japanese brand are made of high quality stuff. The length and pipe size has been researched & developed to suit the model. Fit and finish is superb.

It might cost a bit more, but it's well worth it.

It's just locally made stuff are not up to par.
