2 for the doors, so thats one per side.

The ceiling lights, you need 3. two at the front and one in the rear.
lifespan, im not too sure, mine have lasted for more than 2 years so far. before that i had different colour, lasted alsmot the same time, probably still be ok. I changed them bcoz.....well i wanted a different colour....hahaha

eBay would be best go for these, be cheaper than autobarn n supercheap.

if you wanted bright ones, like i did, i looked for SMD LEDs or Flux LEDS, they were bright as.

Ahh, righteo, so cheaper = lesser quality in this case i suppose.

    2 years is hell fine.

I'll give the ebay ones ago and see how bright they are.
theyre not gonna be for any 'real' purpose lol, just to look nice when i unlock the car ^^

yep, i go from top with a flathead screwy.
Just be careful the bulb might get a bit warm/hot when u go to take the bulb out. Dont want u to burn yourself etc.

    Hi Guys

Noob with all this stuff, so thought Id bump up this thread. I've been able to find heaps of info, but some of the links to buy leds for my 05 Accord are no longer working. I guess it is a matter of trial and hopefully you get a good set of lights.

I'm looking at getting Blue T10 - 5 SMD LEDs for the door

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/t10-1w-...-58297?item=30

and 31mm - 6 SMD LEDs for the map lights and cabin light at the back

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/31mm-1-...-51003?item=14

Will the Map Lights be bright enough and fit as well?

Also, I haven't tried opening up the Licence Plate lights, but what would be the best T10's for the plate lights so it is bright enough to see the plate.

    Cheers
