Hey man, how come ur revs cut at 7800 rpm? I'm assuming your talking about fuel cut off? I got a b16a2, and i'm pretty sure it don't cut that early.

    LMFAO.. this is it..

last weekend I was driving an 2001 DC2 Type R with less than 40,000Kms (bone-stock) and simon beat me consistantly and I was trying to hurth that type R !! (rev limited at 8850) the type R did have 3 'not-small' boys in the car and simon was on his own, but still.. a virgin DC2R going down to a B16A civic.. I love it !! and if you think i cant drive.. well..

I didnty believe the 7,900RPM redline either untill I drove it and yeh the VAFC2 has some un-removable (untill fully tunen and calibrated) rev-limit.

Prob not supposed to tell anyone but there's some B's under that valve cover and THEY not meant to make peak power till the 8800 RPM ballpark all the way to high 9,000RPMs. My JDM SiR-II Cams are making peak power at 8060 RPM so I guarantee Simon has not seen the wildest side of his cams with the completely un-tuned state of the engine.

I was amazed at his 1/4 mile times on 17" rims with not-too-special rubber.. and un-tuned and also his first time at the strip ever !!! man I think on his new 15" rims with some sticky rubber and a decent VAFC2 tune.. very low 14's or even high 13's are on the cards and I'm being realistic as this engine is a fkn animal in disguise.. you should hear it's engine note when idling down my street !!

pics and video up at our website soon.. simon's first (ever) run was wheelspin about 200m down the track HAHAHA.
