quick search on OH yielded:
The aussie 4th gen VTIR's were 1994-1995. Should go for 10-14k *don’t pay more than that, cos that’s in 5th gen territory*.
212Nm@5300rpm, 147kw@7000rpm.

Unless you get a JDM, you will have to go with Si if you want auto. AUDM Prelude VTi-R only came in manual.
IMO, it's not a Prelude unless it's has a DOHC VTEC engine under the bonnet.
It's a world of a difference.

apartently the Si. 2.3L has a faster take of then the vti-r. but once then vtir hits 3,000rpm si will get cained.!
-
in the 5th gen the differences are engine as mentioned
VTIR = 147kw vtec
SI = 118kw non vtec
VTIR has 5 stud wheels, glass sunroof, climate control, 16" alloys vs 15" on SI, leather steering wheel and gear knob, 6 speaker stereo vs 4 speaker in SI.
Options were: Compact disc player with 10 CD Stacker, Leather Upholstery, Metallic Paint, Rear Spoiler
