Take your 1st gen to Tony Flood...you won't be dissapointed.
And I agree with you about the crxaustralia page. The page has been dormant for way too long.

Talk to ALLMTR (Chuck) on these forums. He bolted a B16A into his 3Gen Civic which has the same enginebay as your Ballade. He then went to B20/B16A in it
