I been looking on the net and i saw these turbonator vortex generators that mount inside your air intake pipe. They're cheap and claim to increase up to 35 hp....

Does anyone own one or know anything bout them, cos if its true then thats good bang for your buck..

Is it meant to be some kind of FI?

Cause if its and electric fan thats meant to force air into the intake.....then it will do SFA.

Vortex, Tornado.. it has many names..

it's just a crappy piece of tin that goes inside your intake tube. It is designed (in theory) to make the intake air flow swirl in a cricular motion as it is sucked past the 'vortex' doo-dad...

in THEORY it may work a little, but I doubt you would notice ANY difference under your right foot.

I am most sceptical of the el-cheapo construction and can only iomagine what one of the tiny metal fins would do if it got sucked into your intake manifold.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GIMMICKS !!

    Straight up...
    It's wee wee playing bullshit...
    Save your money...

Vortex generators only work on the wings of old jets, such as 707's etc...
